Light and Glory Candles LLC Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.lightandglorycandles.com (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Sensitive Information. We are a Christian candle business. Therefore, you have the option of sharing sensitive information with us such as your religious, philosophical, and/or political beliefs through email, social media, our 'Contact' page, etc.
Social Media. When you click 'Follow' on our Site and then click on 'Instagram', you will be redirected to our Instagram profile. If you decide to interact with our Instagram profile and/or content (ex. direct messaging us, liking a post of ours, commenting on a post of ours, watching our Instastories, etc.), we may be able to see your interactions with us and the interactions you may have with other users. We may also see your profile and the information/content you post that is viewable to us. Photographs. To promote honesty, we require photographic evidence if you decide to request a refund or exchange. We also ask for photographic evidence in case we need it for filing an insurance claim with our shipping provider(s). For more information, please visit our 'Return Policy' page.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud;
- Post testimonials/reviews; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above under 'HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?'. We may also share general, unidentifiable information about you to the public (ex. A woman from Texas ordered 5 'On a Tree' candles and 10 'Flame of Fire' candles.).
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

DO NOT TRACK

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services.
