God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins (John 3:16-21, 1 Corinthians 15:3). Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life and died an undeserving death so that you may have eternal life in heaven and escape eternal death in hell (Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 5:21). “How do I get eternal life?” In order to receive the gift of eternal life, you must repent of your sins, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God rose Him from the dead (Mark 1:14-15, Romans 10:9-10).
As believers in Christ, we are also called to be baptized in the name of Jesus and to be filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 19:1-6). The Lord will forgive you of your sins and make you a new creation if you let Him (2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 John 1:9). Will you turn and believe on Him today?
